This Truma gas hose makes using a gas cylinder safer. The hose is 40 cm long and made of rubber. The inlet connection varies per country. This hose is not suitable for France. Please note that gas hoses are sensitive to UV light, especially when they are made of rubber. They may need to be replaced regularly when used outside. Also, make sure your gas hose is bent in a smooth curve when installing in a vehicle. It may rupture if you create a sharp bend.

Check your gas hose

For safety reasons, you should inspect your gas hose yearly. First, bend the hose and pull it tight. Are any ruptures appearing? Then you need to replace it. Low-pressure hoses generally need to be replaced every 3 years and high-pressure hoses every 5 years. Truma applies a maximum service life of 10 years. The production date of the gas hose is printed on the hose, so you can check its service life. When installing a new gas hose, you can check for leakage with some water and detergent. If air bubbles appear, you have a leak. Make sure to fix this before using your gas system.
